The Support Services Annex Building is a two-story office building, providing support services to the greater Rancho Los Amigos medical campus. The on-grade building totals approximately 67,100 s.f. of enclosed area, of which 46,550 s.f. is undergoing selective demolition and phased remodeling. The work is being sequenced in a manner providing for portions of the building to remain occupied and operational for facility staff and other employees. In summary, programmed project upgrades include: A newly renovated lobby area and all new administrative office areas with conference rooms. Existing restrooms will receive upgraded finishes, as well as required modifications to meet all current accessibility code requirements. Roof top improvements include new HVAC equipment and all related air ducting, plumbing and electrical service. A new fire alarm panel will be installed, and the existing fire sprinkler system will be modified as required to serve enhanced interior improvements. The exterior of the building will be painted, a new entrance canopy installed, along with related hardscape and directional signage.
