Multiple spur tracks were constructed as a storage and off-loading yard for incoming lumber transported by train to the facility. Several thousand feet of track were installed along with a guard house structure and road improvements. Site development included encasing and construction of a bridge over an existing 70 year old water pipeline so that new tracks could cross over without damaging the pipe.
